1 – Wear a Mask

Wearing a mask may help filter harmful germs from the air. But you can’t just use a normal surgical mask. You need a high quality mask with a carbon filter.

A quality mask can be used when you travel, hike, or run. When I was on my last plane flight I was happy that a sick person next to me took the effort to wear a mask, I made it back without getting sick. Whew!

2. Sleep Machine

When you don’t get enough sleep you weaken your immune system. If you wake up at the slightest sound a sleep machine can provide the background relaxing noise to keep you asleep.

If someone who snores keeps you awake you should have them try a snoring solution.

3. Water – Stay Hydrated

Up to 60% of your body is water. The brain and heart are 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even bones are: 31%.

Water keep us all going and is a vital nutrient in every cell.

It regulates our internal body temperature by sweating and respiration, it assists in flushing waste and junk.

Drinking water can be boring so I love adding this tea to my water. Especially with sparkling water.

4. Hand Sanitizer

When you’re out it’s not always easy to get to a bathroom to wash hands. That’s why it’s so important to carry a hand santizer to kill germs you pick up along the way.

Don’t pick an overly scented, choice a natural sanitizer that is easy on sensitive skin.

5. Hand Soap

It’s always important to watch your hands often. Especially with kids in common play areas, after using the bathroom and after coughing or sneezing.

My favorite hand soap is one that is natural and isn’t overly filled with heavy perfumes.

6. Take Your Garlic

Multivitains can cover all your basics that you are not getting from your diet.

But adding in a garlic pill, can add an extra punch.

Garlic supplements are known to boost the function of the immune system.

7 – Apple Cider Vinegar

It might not be a taste you like right away, but adding a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water helps to alkalinize the body. Creating an alkaline environment helps kill bacteria and viruses.

If you don’t enjoy the taste you can get the same benefits in gummy form.

8 – Epsom Salt bath

Stress can reduce your immune system. Try journaling, meditation or take a relaxing bath with epsom salt when you need to destress. Also try adding in some essential oils.

You can also light a candle and pour yourself a cup of tea.

9 – Tea

Herbs may help support respiratory health, including Eucalyptus, Licorice and Tulsi, are just right for enjoying during Cold Weather Season.

Also Echinacea, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Licorice and Fennel can support immune function and respiratory health.
